What are the room/building requirements?

Just as with our hypoxic systems that simulate higher altitudes, our hyperoxic solutions—designed to replicate lower elevations—require a few key conditions:

  • A relatively well-sealed room or building (we design systems assuming no more than 20% air leakage per day based on total volume)
  • A closed-loop HVAC system within the space, such as ductless mini-splits, heat pumps, or radiant floor heating
  • A climate-controlled, well-ventilated mechanical area with adequate electrical capacity to support the system's size
These standard requirements ensure optimal performance and reliability for your oxygen-controlled environment.

Absolutely—Hypoxico’s installation team brings decades of expertise in simulated altitude environments and can coordinate professional installations virtually anywhere in the world.

We can design simulated oxygen environments for spaces of nearly any size—up to 16,000 sq. ft. and beyond. The same expert engineering used in our large-scale hypoxic installations is applied to our hyperoxic solutions as well. For smaller setups, our oxygen-controlled systems can be paired with cubicle tents to create a personal oxygen retreat in your bedroom, home gym, or relaxation area.
